COVID-19 Service update


  • We are still accepting & processing orders as normally as we can, but a combination of reduced staffing levels & a high order volume are causing some delays. Delivery providers & manufacturers / distributors are also experiencing issues with staffing & workload.

    Telephone & email response;

    We are currently unable to accept telephone enquiries or orders, while we are responding to email enquiries please allow up to 48 hours for a response.

    Order processing / Dispatch;

    We are currently unable to honour our standard dispatch guarantees & it's possible that order dispatch may be delayed by 1 to 2 working days. Orders will be dispatched as soon as possible on a first come / first served basis & you will be notified by email when your order has been dispatched.

    Delivery services;

    While our delivery providers are working as normally as is possible, reduced staffing & social distancing measures will inevitably cause some delays.

    Royal Mail RM 24 & RM 48 - may run behind schedule.

    Royal Mail Special Delivery - Next day delivery guarantee has been withdrawn.

    Royal Mail Airmail - Significant delays to some destinations are being experienced. Reduced hold freight volume from the significant global reduction in passenger flights along with reduced staffing at both outgoing & incoming delivery hubs may cause significant delay.

    Parcelforce - Normal service guarantees have been withdrawn from Express 24, Express 48 & Euro Priority services & delays may be incurred.

    We are receiving a significant number of enquiries regarding late deliveries - at the moment we are not actively chasing late deliveries until they have reached the formal late / missing date, these are;

    Royal Mail 24 Tracked, 24 & 48 - 10 full working days.

    Airmail (Europe) - 20 full working days

    Airmail (Beyond Europe) - 25 full working days

    Manufacturers & Distributors;

    Harder & Steenbeck orders are being delayed & many product lines are currently out of stock.

    Iwata orders are being delayed & many product lines are currently out of stock.

    3M respiratory products have been unavailable for some time now & are likely to remain so for the foreseeable future.
