Now here’s an airbrush tip.

German airbrush manufacturer Harder & Steenbeck, celebrating 96 years in continued business in 2019, have introduced a brand-new needle design across their complete airbrush range (excluding Colani), in 0.15, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6mm.

Named the V2 it offers improved performance and durability and has been in testing and development for quite some time. The V2 needle is completely compatible with existing Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes so it can be easily retro-fitted to existing airbrushes fitted with original nozzles, and early feedback from airbrush professionals has been overwhelmingly positive.

By implementing new technology to make the needles stronger, Harder & Steenbeck have ticked quite a few performance boxes too.

Manufactured from harder material with a more robust tip, the re-designed ‘dual taper’ tip has improved performance for detail work, offering much better control and reduced tip dry with acrylic paints.

The visibly clearer and logical needle size identification markings are a great help too.

All Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes, nozzle sets, and replacement needles stocked by Air-craft.net now feature the new V2 needle design. And best of all, Harder & Steenbeck have not increased the price of replacement needles, nozzle sets or airbrushes.
